Note: As a part-time role, the job primarily requires working on weekends from 10 am to 4 pm. It is important to be punctual and reliable for the assigned shifts at the physical store location in Sabah.
-Passion for Badminton: A genuine love and understanding of the sport of badminton, including its equipment, rules, and player needs.
-Product Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of different badminton equipment, including rackets, shuttlecocks, shoes, apparel, and accessories.
-Understanding the features, benefits, and differences between various brands and models.
-Sales Experience: Proven track record in a sales or retail environment, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and the ability to meet sales targets.
-Experience in sports retail or specifically in badminton-related sales is a plus.
-Customer Focus: Ability to engage with customers, understand their requirements, and provide appropriate product recommendations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting customer relationships and provide exceptional service.
-Product Presentation: Proficiency in presenting and showcasing products effectively, highlighting their features and benefits to customers. Ability to handle product demonstrations and answer customer queries.
-Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve store goals. Willingness to assist in inventory management, visual merchandising, and other store operations tasks as needed.
-Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, being flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and customer demands.
-Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate product records, handle cash transactions, and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store.
-Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and other retail technology tools.
-Physical Stamina: Being able to stand for extended periods, lift and carry boxes, and perform tasks that require physical exertion.
