The Company

Our client is an international logistics company. The company provides airfreight, sea freight, customs brokerage, local transportation, warehousing, and distribution services globally.

The Operations Specialist will be reporting to Operations Supervisor/Operations Manager and will be based in Johor Bahru.

The Operations Specialist will be responsible:

• Consolidation – Documents of Operations and Transportation (booking, BL, pre-advice, loading confirmation)

• To manage import and export bookings according to booking log sheet and coordination with Customer Service team, origin station, maintain routing guide.

• Executive co-loader policy within group policy, review and measure the performance of co-loader.

• Accountable accurate hub billing and Job costing

• To monitor and secure allocations and operation efficiency.

• To update and inform supervisors of issues of transportation to be solver for the origin offices or Customer issues in terms of capacity planning.

• To create reports of operations.

The Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in the same position

• Working knowledge of standard and accepted runner practices.

• Ability to communicate openly and confidently.

• Ability to influence and convince others as a result in acceptance and agreement.

• Capable to make informed judgements and to generate practical timely solutions

• Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Excel
