Our client is an international logistics company. The company provides airfreight, sea freight, customs brokerage, local transportation, warehousing, and distribution services globally

The Business Development Manager Trade-Lane Specialist will be reporting to the Branch Manager/Sales Manager and will be based in Bangsar.

The Business Development Manager Trade-Lane Specialist will be responsible:

• To develop market data and sales strategies to increase customer base in the indicated Trade-Lanes.

• To maintain a detailed knowledge of products and services offered by the company particularly in reference to the indicated Trade-Lanes

• Collaborate with Trade-Lane Director and Route Development managers when present.

• Travel throughout assigned territory to meet with regular and prospective customers.

• To develop and maintain strong business relationships.

• To provide pricing, credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.

• To deliver activity reports and sales plans for the assigned territory.

• To actively participate in aggressive sales and skills training.

• Adhere to all requirements outlined in the Sales Policy.

The Requirements:

• Preferably Degree Holder

• 3-5 years of successful sales experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics or Transportation Industry.

• Experience with CMS System

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent written and verbal skills.

• Excellent Interpersonal, Presentation and Organizational skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of Transportation Industry, Logistics and Freight Forwarding.

• Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.
