• Provide answers to users by identifying problems, researching answers, root cause analysis and as a second level helpdesk for infrastructure issue.
• Responsible to manage IT operations including physical server, storage, networking and equipment.
• Perform major/minor maintenance and repairs by troubleshooting cabling system issue.
• To work with project team to lead in the planning and implementation of infrastructure projects and, ensure quality of work and optimisation of resources.
• Working in a tightly controlled environment with Change Management.
• Supervise subordinates for first level investigation for infrastructure issue.
• To ensure timely and proper documentation of all tasks carried out and update of internal knowledge base.
• Accommodate user disabilities by recommending devices and techniques.
• Avoid legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreement.
• Improve system performance by identifying problems, recommending changes.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks.
• Accomplishes information systems and organisation mission by completing related results as needed.
