Role Description

We are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team in Penang. This is a full-time hybrid role, our office located in Penang, but most of us are working from home, we meet once a week. As our SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing SEO strategies to optimize client's website, conducting keyword research, monitoring results, staying up-to-date with industry trends & best practices, and communicate with clients and potential leads.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in SEO, preferably in an agency setting
• Proven track record of successful SEO strategies and implementation, demonstrated by increased organic traffic
• Thorough knowledge of search engine ranking factors, keyword research, and SEO best practices
• Experience with tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Screaming Frog
• Hands on experience with WordPress and other Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Able to communicate in English, Malay & Chinese (This is a client facing role)
• Has own laptop/PC and a stable internet connection
